The Bort Foot Levator Orthotic Device supports the lifting of the foot (dorsal flexion) in the upper ankle joint when walking. Whilst in the momentum phase, the Foot Levator Orhotic Device supports the resetting of the foot and a physiological movement pattern is facilitated. Borth of the partially-elastic bracing elements (A, B) lift the forefoot. These bracing elementsare fastened in a figure-of-eight from above the ankle. The figure-of-eigh closure additionallystabilises the ankle. The non-elastic bracing element (C) prevents the foot from twisting in the lower ankle area; it lifts the outer edge of the foot.
The permanent elastic, soft and textile structure of the Bort Foot Levator Orthotic Device permitsself-perception through the plantar surface of the sole of the foot whilst under strain when walking. The dynamics of walking is possible without any restriction.
Indications:
Slack peroneal paralysis, dorsal and toe extensor paresis.
